Chinese Brush Flow Residential

Chinese Brush Flow

Chinese Brush Flow is a residential interior design created for a home shared by three generations in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Planning began at the roughcast stage, which allowed a clear separation between public and private areas. Natural stone materials such as marble, granite and ruby stone are used on floors, walls and cabinet backboards. Rose gold titanium-plated metal lines and a curved ceiling soften sharp angles and reflect indirect light. Dark marble tops on coffee tables, dining tables and bar counters resist staining and simplify daily care.

Irregular beveled shapes cut across the walls, which combine wallpaper, cement board, tawny glass, black glass and metal plate. The ceiling is raised gradually from one corner to the opposite side to avoid the beams. Large windows draw daylight into the deeper parts of the home.
