Warm Twilight House

Warm Twilight House is a residential interior design created through the renovation of a thirty-year-old home in Taiwan. The residence covers 170 square meters and contains three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. Elaborate decoration is avoided in favor of clean lines, practical layouts and warm natural materials. Walls and cabinets are assembled from solid wood slices with natural texture. The original window structure is retained to admit sunlight, and the suspended ceiling is removed to gain height within the limited space.

Ink Color

Ink Color is a residential interior design created for a family working in education. The home expresses calm, elegance and restraint. Inherited mahogany solid wood is re-stained and remodeled, giving the material a new appearance inspired by ink and calligraphy. The living room wall is finished in light ink tones to create a quiet atmosphere. Strips of glass 50 cm wide replace parts of the solid wall near the television and the window, linking ceiling, floor and wall for visual extension. A 0.8 mm wood grain stone plastic floor is laid over the original tiles to reduce cost and waste.

Texture of Sphere

Texture of Sphere is a residential interior design for a 231 square meter home in Taipei, Taiwan. The palette has low color saturation and combines stone, hardwood and tawny glass. A glass sliding door brings daylight into the formerly dim dining area, while a grille wall conceals the guest bathroom door. The dining area includes a bar counter and a metal chandelier. Curved lines soften the ceiling beam of the living room and link each section. Curved showcases hide storage, and a former service room is now a sauna chamber.

Fulfillment

Fulfillment is a residential interior design for the home of a retired couple. The original layout is largely retained to reduce waste from demolition. A rattan door wardrobe, iron bars and reduced cupboard space create an open and visually transparent environment. Natural materials such as stone and wood keep their texture and fill the rooms with earth tones, so the space looks larger. The house stands in a damp location, so a mineral coating is applied to regulate moisture. Simplification guides the project and makes the residence comfortable.

Lure Union is a residential interior design for a two-story house of 222 square meters in Taoyuan City. Reunion is the theme of the plan, because most family members live downtown and gather during holidays. The wide rectangular space is divided into sections that are joined by seamless doors set on one wall. Glass sliding doors at the kitchen front and the library improve daylight in the open living areas. Varied wood colors recall the annular rings of trees. Living Haven is a residential interior design for a family duplex in Taipei, Taiwan. The lower level holds the living room, dining area, kitchen, master bedroom and a multi-purpose studio.
