Wild Rhythm

Wild Rhythm is an exhibition hall in Chongqing, China. The interior covers 240 square meters and can also serve as a gallery, a bar or a living space. Cement, steel and paint are the main materials, and simple traditional methods are used throughout. A second floor was added where the ceiling height allows, and a spiral stair was built around an existing structural column. A storage room was placed above the bar to increase the usable area. The design returns the space to basic building elements and reduces unnecessary decoration and waste.

Life

Life is an exhibition hall interior in Xi'an, China, covering 1000 square meters. The design blends modern methods with Chinese and Asian traditions. References to shadow puppet art, green tea culture and ancient architecture are embedded in the space. Colors are drawn from natural sources, including the scenery of the Qinling Mountains, Lantian jade and the Weihe River. Metal, wood and stone are combined in the reception area. Glass and other transparent materials let sunlight pass through the rooms. The negotiation area is arranged symmetrically.

Feicui Tianji

Feicui Tianji is a model room interior located in Hefei. The design follows a light industrial style, with modern minimalist geometry in black, white and gray. Marble texture and metal tones create a cool urban character. A vintage green pleated seat and a beige sofa add contrast and warmth. The living area is planned with education in mind and combines color and texture to support flexible use of the space. The dining area uses an integrated layout, where furniture in different shades and materials marks the layers of the room.

Jiangyin Thermoelectric

Jiangyin Thermoelectric is an exhibition hall set in the old factory area of a thermal power company. A three-story building of about 1200 square meters was converted into a corporate exhibition hall and a green energy science museum. The design theme is green energy creating the future. Interactive multimedia displays include a Thermal Forest LED light show, an Energy Planet dome and a holographic Tesla coil. Children can light a model bridge by cycling to generate electricity. A control unit used in the plant for 30 years is kept on display.

Tianze Information

Tianze is an exhibition hall located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, with an area of 1750 square meters. The design follows a minimalist approach and uses architectural elements within the interior to give the space depth and restraint. Cave stone, wood, steel and concrete are the main materials. Black painted steel plate, dark wood veneer and silver limestone cave stone form a limited color range. The quiet and solemn atmosphere keeps attention on the displayed product information. The project was completed in July 2018.
