Strait Culture

Strait Culture and Art Center covers an area of 143485.78 square meters with a total construction area of 152601.48 square meters. The architectural inspiration that derives from the city flower of Fuzhou Jasmine flower. These jasmine petals are arranged along the riverside in a fan shaped composition and form an urban sculpture and an image of the Jasmine Flower.

Pam

Pam is comparable to a puzzle, every of its part is inimitable. Each leg, arm and back rest element is singularly carved, assembled and honed manually, conducting a seamless design. Through this production process, every element is a character of its own, making Pam a case of sui generis and giving an overall harmonious look. The lamellar structure of the palm leaf served as inspiration for the distinctive design of the Pam chair and its name.

Guangming Public Service

The project is located in Guangming District, Shenzhen city, China. Considering that the planning of Guangming District emphasizes a green city development mode with low impact, the designers suggested that the building set an example to implement the concept. This design intended to break the conservative Taishi Chair-like spatial pattern, with a view to bringing a new image and injecting vitality into the government architecture. The flexible curved plane of the "mountain" creates a relaxing atmosphere.

Woodland

The original building had limited space and heavily relied on artificial lights, which was against common expectations of kindergartens. The design has kept the entire structure and created an atrium. Taking advantage of the original structure, the atrium transforms the liner into a woodland. Columns and beams immediately become trees and bridges. Continuous stairs and slides spiral up around the columns, connecting and activating spaces.

Qingdao West-Coast Technology Park

Qingdao West Coast Innovative Technology Park is part of the new town development centered around the Qingdao West High Speed Rail Station. It consists of 110,000 square meters of office space and a visitor center of 5,000 square meters. It includes a science center by Sinochem Group, an exhibition hall featuring the master plan of the new town development, conference rooms, dining facilities and a coffee bar. It seeks to extend and translate the coastal landscape into architectural forms and spaces, providing a platform that is the living room of an engine for future innovations.

Tianjin Zarsion

Architects initially tried to use symbolic architectural language to establish a connection with the historical environment. In terms of layout, the water drop shape is placed diagonally into the site, which not only elongates the moving line from the city interface to the entrance, but also makes the water drop shape more intuitive in front of the eyes. The profound eaves overhang and large area glass applications create a directionless floating roof, which presents a charming tranquility with the swaying shadows of the trees.
