This coffee machine with integrated milk frother offers the complete package of Italian coffee culture: from espresso to cappuccino or latte. The Lavazza in Black system also offers peel-able coffee pods that can be recycled more easily. A lot of work went into reducing noise level and energy consumption.

Be Water

Be Water is a linear, modular and recessed kinetic LED lamp for decorative wall washing. The lamp is installed inside a light cove or behind furniture, so only the moving light is visible. Light is refracted through a handmade glass cylinder that rotates on its axis and projects fluctuating flares onto the wall. The effect recalls sunlight reflected on the surface of moving water. One motor can drive from one to six modules. Optional filters create the colour variants Be Fire, Be Air and Be Earth. Aluminium, borosilicate glass and plexiglass are used, and each piece is made in Italy.

Bioclimatic strategies include rainwater harvesting, greywater treatment, green roofs and solar panels. The buildings occupy 30 percent of the lot, so much of the existing vegetation is preserved.

The Shard

Shard is a sales office in Chongqing, China, created through the renovation of an existing building. The facade is composed of aluminum units shaped like paper cranes, which give the building the character of an artwork within the city. The building area is 3000 square meters. The aim is to support interaction between people, art and space.
