The existing house was dark and poor cross ventilation. Therefore we propose a new concept to have large windows, but at the same time filtering the heat from the sun. The stairs acts as an airwell with a skylight and ventilation vents. Thus improving the air circulation in the house keeping it constantly cool. The screen on the external facade not only acts as shade from the sun but also giving privacy for the user as the neighbouring houses are built closely to each other.
The Architecture Factory is a third level architectural education, learning and research space situated in a disused split-level warehouse in Cork, Ireland. The interior architectural intervention adapts used shipping containers into lecturer offices dividing the ground floor space into 7 open plan studios. These are divided from a new mezzanine structure by a wide boulevard which functions as a live lab, exhibition and making space. The mezzanine cantilevers over this space creating online learning facilities above seminar rooms, storage, photo labs and studios bookending the enclosures.
When Gamsei opened in 2013, hyper-localism was introduced to a field of practice which had till then been mainly confined to the food scene. At Gamsei, ingredients for cocktails are either wildly foraged or grown by local artesian farmers. The bar interior, is a clear continuation of this philosophy. Just like the cocktails, Buero Wagner procured all materials locally, and worked in close collaboration with local manufacturers to produce custom-made solutions. Gamsei is a wholly integrated concept that turns the event of drinking a cocktail into a novel experience.
The MGA is a culture venue with a performing arts centre and a mediatheque, located in 19th-century urban block in Kraków. The form is a contextual game of mimesis and abstraction. It draws inspiration from the context by making references to the roofing geometry and tissue of the nearby buildings, the ceramic elevation refers to their brick façades. The building fits in the scale of its environment by maintaining the roof lines and divisions of the historical façades. Due to its abstract and free composition it has created a modern architectural sign in historical surroundings

There are two blocks in façade design; one is dark color, the other is light color; they stand for two elements that are “Yin” and “Yang” of Tai Chi respectively. These two blocks are In Opposition To Each Other but Mutual and Harmonious Existence, and they are integrated to become a complete one.In the meantime, we adopt clean and tidy lines and three dimensional cutting of sculpture technique with the esthetics concept from the works (TAI CHI) of Mr. Juming, and all of these elements are integrated into architectural design.
