9440 RALS

The 9440 RALS belongs to Peli´s Remote Area Lighting System (RALS) family of portable, self-contained, rechargeable LED area lights that can go where bulky, gasoline-powered lights can't. The RALS lineup makes a technological leap over conventional incandescent area lighting. These outdated systems are powered by noisy, polluting, fuel-driven generators that emit toxic fumes and heat, posing serious safety problems on job sites. In stark contrast, RALS offer users the ability to illuminate a large work area without the fuel consumption, noise and air pollution.

Wuhan Pixel Box Cinema

“Pixel” is the basic element of images, designer explores relationship of movement and pixel to become the theme of this design. “Pixel” is applied in different areas of the cinema. The box office grand hall houses a tremendous curved envelop formed by over 6000 pieces of stainless steel panels. The feature display wall is decorated with huge amount of square strips protruding from the wall is presenting the glamorous name of cinema. Inside this cinema, everyone would enjoy the great atmosphere of digital world generated by the cohesion of all “Pixel” elements.

Haj House Complex

Light, shadows, shelter, pilgrims, garden, paradise… the concept of the Haj House Complex in Lucknow is hereby, through this proposal, addressed as a cord connectively fastening the stems of some of the main features in Islamic traditional architecture; by trying to be much more than just the sum of different functional requirements housed within “rational” buildings, we wanted to push stronger and farther, in order for those concepts to be tangible in the final scenario.

Kyoto Silk

This project was to convert "Machiya", a Japanese traditional wooden townhouse, in the centre of Kyoto, into a small shop. The original wooden frames were reinforced with steel frames because the original building was dilapidated. I focused on the way accommodating necessary functions of a beauty cosmetic shop within the space limitations of the original "Machiya".

PIRELLI TYRES SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

The inspiring principles of the project consist in transforming the prospective clients’ approach towards their tire-dealers and directly involving them in the choice/purchase process. We tried to add new tools which can provide new experiences. Feeling through feelings. Perceiving through the 5 senses. Visual Merchandising. Communication. Products. Environment. Finding a new way of communication, more effective than the simple gadgets which invade the tyres sector, but leaving, however, its technical characteristics and charm unchanged.
